Kementerian Perpaduan Negara (KPN) announced this afternoon that the National Security Council (MKN) had revised and agreed to permit religious activities at houses of worship during this Chinese New Year effective from 12 Feb 2021 subject to the relevant SOP.

As per the said announcement, only 30 worshippers are allowed to pray at any one time and they are required to wear face masks and maintain physical distancing. Each prayer session is done within 30 minutes followed by sanitisation before the next session of prayer.

Prayer time is allowed by the Government to start from 6am to 2pm BUT Thean Hou Temple shall only open to public from 14 Feb 2021 from 8am to 2pm daily during this MCO til 18 Feb 2021.

We warmly reminds that there is no need to make an appointment. We open from 8am. As per government requirement on the sanitising, the last call to go into the temple will be at 1 pm. After the last batch of prayers staying for 30 minutes, we will do the sanitising again before closed. Please arrive as early as possible.

As usual, body temperature shall be taken at the check point, and MySejahtera shall be used for check-in. Logbook shall be used for those who do not have smartphones.
