Resulted from the announcement of the Senior Minister for Security and Minister of Defence，YB Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri bin Yaakob on Tuesday (13/10/2020), Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) enforced in Selangor,Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya effective from 14/10/2020 to 27/10/2020. According to the latest standard operating procedure (SOP), only a limited number of entrants at a maximum of 6 is allowed in non-Muslim Houses of Worship.
Ministry of National Unity has further confirmed that the limit mentioned above refers to staff only. Religious activities are prohibited as per the Guidelines of the National Security Council (MKN).
Hence, Thean Hou Temple shall be temporarily closed to public access during the 14-day CMCO for the effort of curbing Covid-19 pandemic.
